Troy D. Bolen graduated from the University of Texas with a Bachelor of Arts in Economics and immediately began a career for Blue Bell Ice Cream focusing on business operations in Mexico. Troy left the business sector in 1996 and earned his law degree from South Texas College of Law in 1999.

First licensed as an attorney in Colorado in 1999, Troy began a general law practice in Colorado Springs. In 2006, Troy returned to Austin to practice real estate law. Since 2006, Troy has represented a vast array of real estate investors, property managers, and third-party financing and consumer credit agencies. He is licensed in all the United States District Courts of Texas.
